Sally Wiesen (nee Wangerin) is fiddler, vocalist, and songwriter for Sally's Garden. Her gorgeous soprano floats above John's tenor and Sonya's Alto voices to create amazing harmonies. She also shines as lead on such songs as She moved through the Fair. Her skillful and expressive fiddle playing ranges from soulful airs to jigs and reels bursting with energy.
Her favorite musicians include Alison Krauss + Union Station, Enya, and Karan Casey. She also loves aquarium keeping and maintains African Cichlids, angelfish and tetras among others. She is a dedicated volunteer with the strings program at Raba Elementary School, helping 5th graders learn the violin and viola. She is also a film buff, especially in the science fiction and horror genres. She has been married to John (Guitarist for Sally's Garden) for 19 years. John and Sally have two children: Anne (16), and Richard (12).
