Greetings!
We are Sally’s Garden, a duo of John Wiesen (Guitar and Vocals) and Sally Wiesen (Fiddle and Vocals). Along with part time mandolin player Sonya Graham, we sing and play acoustic based Celtic music (Traditional Irish, Scottish, Welsh and Breton) as well as original compositions in the traditional style.
We are active professional musicians in the San Antonio area and have played at many local events and venues including the San Antonio Highland Games, the Alamo Irish Festival at the Arneson theater, the San Antonio Botanical Gardens "Gardens by Moonlight" event, the Cove, The Blue Cactus Cafe, as well many weddings, retirement homes and private parties. We also sponsor a free acoustic Celtic Jam an Sunday afternoons at Nine Lives Books.

John is a songwriter with over 40 songs and tunes to his credit and is an accomplished singer and guitarist as well. He recently retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. His Scots-Irish heritage and interest in geneaology has provided inspiration for his songs and melodies. Sally plays the fiddle and joins John in vocal harmonies. Her beautiful interpretations of our music will transport you to the Emerald Isle and back to a simpler time.
